Land Rover has just recalled another 60,000 vehicles in the U.S., which may impact a Range Rover you own and insure. Because this recall is related to air bags, a critical component of safety, we wanted to be sure you were aware of it. (Note, this recall is separate from the two recent Land Rover recalls regarding brakes.) Here is a brief overview of the recall:
- 2013-2015 Range Rover and 2014-2015 Range Rover Sport: A light weight adult front seat passenger may be improperly classified by the occupant classification system (OCS), thereby, disabling the air bag. Starting April 17th, dealers will update the OCS software, free of charge.
